Auction Rules and Guidelines

For orders "created" on or after January 1, 2027 at 00:00, the auction fee will return to 3.8%. The platform transaction fee and credit card payment fees will also be adjusted at the same time; see Platform Service Fee and Payment Processing Fee.

Note: The fees on this page will be fully updated when the new rates take effect.

Auction Rules:

Please read the following carefully before joining an auction. Pressing "Place a bid" means you agree to follow these rules.
The auction feature service fee is 3.8% (currently discounted to 2%, and it does not stack with the original 2% platform service fee)

1. Bidding mechanism

To join an auction for a listing, press "Place a bid"; the highest bid wins. If multiple buyers bid at the same time, the system goes by the bid that was successfully submitted first, and the other buyers must refresh the page before bidding again.

2. Extended auction end mechanism (anti-sniping)

If a new bid is placed within the last 5 minutes before the auction ends, the system automatically extends the auction by 5 minutes.
The extension repeats until no one bids in the last 5 minutes, and only then does the auction officially end.

3. Winning and the obligation to order

The winning bidder must complete the order at the winning price. If checkout is not completed within 24 hours after winning, it is treated as malicious abandonment of the auction, and the account will be suspended under platform rules. Within 30 days after suspension, you can request to re-place the order on the original order; after 30 days, you can no longer request a re-order or message the seller, and the only option is to pay the unlock fee under Article 5 of the Terms of Service.

4. Prices and fees

The auction price covers only the listing price; it does not include shipping, the packaging fee set by the seller, or other additional fees. The actual checkout amount is as shown on the order page.

5. When no one bids

If no one bids before the auction ends, the listing is automatically delisted and no order is created.

6. Anonymous bidding

Bidding is anonymous during the auction, and the seller cannot see the bidders' identities. Only after the auction ends and the order is created will the seller see the winning buyer's account.

7. Bids cannot be canceled

An auction bid is a legally binding purchase commitment. Once placed, it cannot be withdrawn or canceled, so please confirm the amount is correct before bidding.

8. Handling of malicious bidding

The platform treats the following behavior, including but not limited to, as malicious bidding:

• Driving up the price and then abandoning the order
• Getting others to help with fake bidding
• Repeatedly disrupting the auction process

If verified, the platform may suspend or terminate the account's access.

9. Handling of malicious bidding
Listings that are not in stock cannot be auctioned. Only in-stock listings that can be shipped promptly may be auctioned.

10. System anomalies

If a system error, abnormal interruption, or technical problem occurs during an auction, the platform reserves the right of final decision and the right to reprocess the auction result.

11. Card condition for auctions

When listing an auction, the seller must clearly state the merch's condition and any defects. If described as "Factory Defects Presumed", it must fall within the range of factory damage defined by the platform; for merch in unopened original packaging, factory defects that cannot be seen through the outer packaging are also considered factory damage. If there is obvious damage beyond the definition of factory damage, the seller must still state it clearly on the listing page and disclose it with photos.

For in-stock auction listings, please use "real photos" and do not use KOCA item images.

12. Listings that may not be auctioned

To maintain transaction safety and fairness in auctions, the following listing statuses or types are prohibited from being listed for sale as auctions, including but not limited to:

1. Listings not in stock
   Any listing that is not in stock may not be listed for auction, including but not limited to:

• Pre-order listings
• Proxy-purchase listings
• Merch that has not yet arrived
• Any merch that is not in the seller's hands and cannot be shipped immediately after the sale

2. Bundled auctions that are not clearly labeled
   1. If the main merch is auctioned together with bundled merch (multiple pieces of merch sold as a bundle), the seller must clearly label it as a bundle when listing and choose the corresponding item or category.
   2. If the bundled merch is not included in the auction and must be ordered separately, clearly state in text or images on the auction listing page which merch must be bundled, and do not select a bundle item for the auction listing (because the auction price does not include the bundled merch, selecting one would make the transaction amount of the bundle item inaccurate).
   3. Any auction listing that evades the listing description or rules with wording such as "no bundling, no bundles" may not be listed.
3. Bundling or add-on purchases if a reserve price is not reached
   If a seller lists an auction, they should accept the final winning price and ship as agreed, and may not disguise a bundled auction with terms such as "if it does not reach XX, it must be bundled with XX" or "if it does not reach NT$XX, it must be bundled for NT$XX".
4. Seller-defined lucky bags and blind bag auctions
   Because the contents of a lucky bag are unknown, if you want to sell lucky bags, price them as Buy Now listings and list them directly; do not use auctions to sell merch that does not guarantee specified contents. (Official unopened card packs and unopened official lucky bags are exempt.)
5. Listings that violate the platform's product rules
   Any merch on the list of prohibited merch in Section 6 of the KOCA Terms of Service may not be listed for sale in any form, including auctions.
6. Currently, only sellers who have enabled credit card or bank transfer payments can use auctions. Once a payment method is enabled, users may not be refused its use; descriptions such as accepting only cash on delivery violate the terms.

If the platform finds an auction listing that violates the above rules, it may delist the listing, cancel the auction, or take action against the account under platform rules.

13. Cancellation of auction orders

Please make sure the information is correct when listing. If there is any error in price, bundling, item selection, and so on, the buyer has the right to request cancellation of the order, and the seller may not refuse.

14. Bids from overseas buyers

Whether overseas buyers (accounts outside Taiwan, such as Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, and China) can bid is decided by the seller:

1. Sellers can turn on "Open auctions to overseas buyers" in "My Base". Before turning it on, you must first enable overseas credit card payments and self-delivery. For sellers who have not turned it on, their auction listings show "Not open to overseas buyers", and overseas buyers cannot bid; Taiwan buyers are not affected.
2. Opening auctions to overseas buyers is a seller's own choice; not opening them is not considered a refusal of use under Item 6 of Article 12.
3. While it is on, you cannot turn off credit card payments, overseas credit card payments, or self-delivery; you must first turn off "Open auctions to overseas buyers".
4. If there are still active auctions or auctions not yet settled, or auction orders for which overseas buyers have not yet completed checkout or payment, you cannot turn off "Open auctions to overseas buyers".
5. The payment and shipping methods after an overseas buyer wins are the same as when an overseas buyer purchases a regular listing.
